Convention Personnel

Conventions play a very important role in the science fiction community. There are folks that make these cons happen. They organize, promote, and run conventions on the national, regional, and local level.

If you know of someone that is instrumental in the science fiction convention scene, they should be on this list. We maintain this list partially in recognition of the work they do, but also as a tool for helping new folks find the talent they may need to help in the running of a con -- either as staff, guide, or mentor.

Robert "Texx" Woodworth
Con OpsI run the Operations division as well as the Ops department for Silicon in the San Jose area.

Susan Satterfield
Susan Satterfield has been involved in running science fiction conventions since 1978. She's also been crazy enough to working on several worldcons and worldcon bids as well as co-chairing World Horror Convention 13.
